I have always been fascinated by the notion of intelligence and how to define it. For me, I find it difficult to include all people under one sort of intelligence, on the other hand, I do belive in a categorical sort of intelligence. Let me give you some examples:
There are those who are socially intelligence, whose presence is on the par of Gandalf, those who know how to get with so many people in such a short time, the party guys.
There is the Math guys, those who are good with numbers and calculations. The ones who are always grab the check after every gathering and calculate who should pay what, the ones who will do taxes and accounting, or modeling a multi tier multi objective problems and have fun while doing so.
There are the linguistics, those who know languages and know how to learn them. You teach them few basic sentences and they will turn it to a full basic conversation. The ones who will impress you by the number of languages they know.
There are the gamers, the ones who solves problems no matter how hard or how long it takes. They like a challenge and calls for action.
The mother intuation kind of intelligence. The mothers who knows what her toddler needs, when she feels worried and her worrisome is not logical but turns to be true.
The creators who can transform their untangebale ideas to amazing dramas, to surrealist brilliant paintings and drawings, the ones who create uplifting melodies and the ones who replay them, who can produce literature and transcribe their thoughts to emotional romantic poetry or fantastic stories.
There is also the Jacks of all trade or who can fall under more than one category who may or may not be that good in any but still will amaze you of the so many things they know about so many various unrelated genres.
Then there is those who are intelligent, yet they waste their time and energy until realizing the approaching deadline, who will turn to a panicking super learners existinitalists and surprisingly they may dodge a bullet there.
There is the unfortunate intelligent over thinkers, who think so much about their abilities and intelligence, under mining themselves, give way less credit to who they are and what they can do, wasting their lives just in the "in-between".
Then there is the guy who wrote this. That is me, and I hear he is brilliant.
